The Ympes can learn to channel their teleportation abilities to become excessively difficult to hit in close combat for a short while.
Blink is not a Defensive Stance, but it is an excellent defensive ability nonetheless. The Ympes are naturally difficult to catch, but while using Blink, they become extremely evasive. Although this only lasts for one turn (before the upgrade), it is still an excellent way to thwart a cavalry charge or to annoy a Soffrance. Just be careful about attacks that cannot be evaded like the Marrenne’s Gust or a shield bash since Blink will not do anything to improve the Ympes extreme fragility.
Upgrade: Lasts 2 turns.
Upgrade: The unit can move or retreat from combat after blinking.
