Most Ympes love to play with lightnings… in no small
part because it is a great way to fry humans!
For most people, the Ympes’ Lightning spell will be a first experience with the Lightning ranged mechanism. While not as strong as a Fire Bolt, a Lightning Bolt will always hit SOMETHING, whether it is an enemy, a friend or cover. If the Ympes find themselves one zone away from a foe without any cover or friends in it, the Lightning spell can wreak some serious havoc! The spell is especially deadly when facing heavily armoured foes, which are more susceptible to attract the attack and will generally have a lesser chance to resist the spell. Large cover, like forests for example, is particularly effective to counter Lightning, so be sure to use it on an open ground.
