Terrain Features

Terrain features are special board pieces that players may place in game tiles to simulate terrain variants on the battlefield. Players agree among themselves on the number of terrain feature to place on the playing surface, but it is suggested you play around 2-4 features. The standard tournament rules allow each player to choose between 0-3 terrain features for the whole tournament. Terrain deployment is then completely randomized taking into account both players' choices of features.

It is important to note that every terrain feature is also a protection against cavalry charges.
