Toughness (TGH) represents the unit’s natural resistance to physical harm. This value is compared to the opponent’s Strength value for a melee hit or to the Shooting value for a ranged hit to then be multiplied the basic Weapon Damage. If Toughness is higher, the damage received will be reduced, but if it is lower, the damage will be increased.
The precise formula used to compare Toughness against the enemy’s Strength or Shooting is an Asymptotic Ratio 2.5 (AR 2.5)
This statistic increases with each level using this formula:
Final TGH = Basic TGH X 1.029183Level (gains 33% every 10 levels)
